A mob in Pakistan’s Sialkot tortured a Sri Lankan national to death and then burnt his body on Friday, reports said. As per reports, police were later sent to the area to bring the situation under control.<\/span><\/p>\n
Punjab Police IG Rao Sardar Ali Khan took notice of the incident and directed the Gujranwala regional police officer to reach the location immediately.<\/span><\/p>\n
According to a Dawn.com report, the incident took place in Sialkot’s Wazirabad Road, where workers of private factories reportedly attacked the export manager of a factory and burnt his body after killing him.<\/span><\/p>\n
Sialkot district police officer Umar Saeed Malik said the man, identified as Priyantha Kumara, was a Sri Lankan national.<\/span><\/p>\n
